The Southern Oklahoma Technology Center plays a vital role in economic growth and quality of life in Southern Oklahoma through it's multi-faceted and effective training programs. In fact, over 37% of students in the 21 full time career programs are adults who are upgrading skills or learning new careers. A well-trained work force provides stability and growth opportunities for our commumities
Unfortunately, many times the student who needs occupational training to achieve their goals can least afford tuition and related expenses.
The Southern Oklahoma Technology Center Foundation, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) organization and receives funding through the generosity of those who want to play a role in providing educational opportunities. Tax deductible donations are received from individuals, businesses, and other entities that share the desire to help others. All gifts are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by the law and will be used for turning dreams into success. The contributions will not take the place of state or local funds for school operating expenses. The long-term goal of the Foundation is to build a substantial endowment which would provide assistance to students for generations to come.
The Foundation provides grants, scholarships, and low interest loans to qualifying students. The assistance allows more individuals to become productive workers, supporting themselves and their families. And ... local businesses and industries benefit from the highly skilled workers they employ from Southern Oklahoma Technology Center programs.
JUST THINK... Your contribution to the Foundation is actually an investment in your future employees, neighbors, and the quality of life in your community.
As an investor in the Foundation, your contribution will help turn dreams into success by making vocational education a reality for anyone who seeks its benefits.
