The Campus Public Safety Department of SOTC was organized in 2001. The Department is a fully certified Police Department with the powers to do all of their own investigations, arrests and have authority to perform any duties that a municipal police department my have. The department employees two part time officers and one Chief. It also has midnight patrol protection on weekends.
Since the organization of the Campus Public Safety Department, the school has seen a significant drop in vandalisms, larcenies and disturbances among students.
