Advanced Welding Skills

This course is for those with advanced skill levels. Receive hands-on training while learning the latest in welding techniques. Welding equipment and some materials provided. Students must provide their own welding hood, safety glasses, welding gloves, long sleeve shirt, hand tools, protective clothing and protective shoe or boots.

Freon Certification Class

This certification will allow you to work as a certified Freon specialist.

Introduction the Cabinet Building

Develop and improve your skills in basic carpentry while constructing a project of the student's choosing under the guidance and supervision of the instructor. Students will have access to SOTC's carpentry shop and tools but must supply their own building materials. All projects must be pre-approved by the instructor prior to the start date of class.

Introduction to 3D Visualization - Animation

Students will learn step by step the basics of the Discreet software - 3ds MAX. You will learn how to model basic shapes, animate a scene and render the final product. You will be working on multiple projects for this class. Come prepared to learn and create!

Intro to AutoCAD

Demonstrating step by step, you will learn the basics of the Autodesk software - AutoCAD. You will learn how to draw basic shapes, dimensions, and how to creae small simple drawings.

Intro to Architechural Desktop

Showing you step by step, you will learn the basics of the Autodesk software - Architectural Desktop. You will create your own house floor plan, dimension it, and even view it in 3D. (Prerequisite - Intro to AutoCAD)

Spring Gardening and Landscaping

Training never ceases for the avid gardener who will have the opportunity to interact with other gardening enthusiasts. Students will learn horticulture skills useful to them as they plan and cultivate their spring gardens and prepare for the summer months. Other topics to be covered include planning for the spring garden now, trees and shrubs, disease, and weed management. This class is offered in Ardmore, Murray County and Healdton and students receive a teacher consultation on their project.

Gardening and Lancscaping for the Spring Workshop

For the busy gardener who would like a one day workshop to help them plan their spring gardens.

Forklift Certification

A course to certify the student. The class includes watching films, written tests, and a driving tests.
